MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW)  An informational meeting regarding the Highway 37 project just north of Mitchell was held last night at Mitchell Technical College.  The $30 million project will extend from Main Street to National Guard Road.  The two-year project will be completed in four phases.  Year one’s schedule includes work from the water treatment plant to National Guard Road.  The year two schedule includes work from Main Street to the water treatment plant.  Jay Peppel of the South Dakota Department of Transportation describes the work that will be done.

He described the shared-use path that will be constructed.

Work is scheduled for April through November of this year and April through November of 2025.
