MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Mitchell is shutting down the intersection of N. Ohlman Street and Country Drive for the rest of the work week.
The closure goes into effect on Wednesday afternoon with officials expecting it to reopen by the end of the day on Friday. They caution that there will likely be more interruptions during the project, which involves installing new sanitary and storm sewers, and a water main. When that is completed, crews will need to rebuild the surface road from the base layer.
Homeowners in the area can use a temporary gravel path that starts at Torrey Pines, runs along the west end of Ohlman, and connects to Country Drive just to the side of the affected intersection.
