Investigation Ongoing in Fatal Sioux Falls Crash

Sioux Falls police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Thursday on the city’s northeast side. The victim has been identified as 78-year-old Edna Erickson of Brandon. According to Information Officer Sam Clemens, no charges have been filed as of now.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Police are continuing to investigate a deadly crash that happened Thursday on the northeast side of Sioux Falls. Information Officer Sam Clemens says no charges have been filed at this time. (:13) The victim has been identified as 78-year-old Edna Erickson of Brandon. A 27-year-old man was behind the wheel of the vehicle that crossed into oncoming traffic, but investigators still don’t know why. Both drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
