James Joseph Horstman, age 78, of Mitchell, SD passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at The Village at Heritage Oaks in Corsicana, TX under hospice care. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Will Funeral Chapel with prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM.
Survivors include his three children: Mark (Starla) Horstman, Kerens TX; Craig (Dawn) Horstman, Riverview FL; Sheri (Joshua) Steig, Corona CA; five grandchildren, Ethan Horstman, Hunter Horstman, Ashley Horstman, Taylor Steig, Kaitlyn Steig; two brothers, Lloyd (Norma) Horstman, Parkston SD; Lynn (Sandy) Horstman, Parkston SD; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Jean.
