RAPID CITY, S.D. — Yankton reigns supreme in 2023 atop the South Dakota Class AA standings after defeating the Mitchell Kernels 65-61 in Saturday’s title match in Rapid City.
Mac Ryken led all scores with 19 points, and his cousin Rugby Ryken followed closely with 18 points. Markus Talley had 16 points to lead the Kernels.
Four Kernels reached figures in scoring (Aiden Myers 14, Charlie McCardle 11, Dylan Soulek 10).
