The City of Mitchell Golf and Cemetery Department announces a public forum on April 27th from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm. The Open House, which will be held at the Lakeview Golf Course clubhouse, will begin with a short presentation from golf course architect Kevin Norby of Norby Golf Course Design. Golfers and interested parties are encouraged to share their thoughts and ask questions about future golf course upgrades and amenities. Everyone in the public is welcome to attend.

Norby Golf Course Design was selected by the golf and cemetery board to develop a Master Plan for the Lakeview Golf Course. Mr. Norby specializes exclusively in the design of golf course communities, golf courses and golf practice facilities. This includes new course design, long range master planning, renovation design and construction observation services. Your input will help us develop a Master Plan for golf course improvements with achievable strategies for the next 10 years. When complete, the Master Plan will be a valuable tool with information to guide the department and golf and cemetery board in meeting the expectations of the golf community.
