MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Mitchell residents will have two opportunities to donate blood in early November as LifeServe Blood Center encourages giving ahead of the Thanksgiving season.
A blood drive is scheduled for Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mitchell High School and a second drive at LifeQuest Nov. 6 from 8 to 11 a.m.
LifeServe’s holiday appeal encourages residents to turn gratitude into action by donating blood. Donations help support patients who need transfusions, including those undergoing cancer treatment or surgery and people recovering from burns.
Appointments can be scheduled at lifeservebloodcenter.org.
