MADISON — Koln Oppold scored a season-high 27 points and added six rebounds and three assists as Dakota Wesleyan snapped a four-game losing streak on Saturday to defeat Dakota State 69-59 on the road.
Oppold hit five 3-pointers, and senior Ace Zorr scored 17 off the bench.
This was the second meeting of the season for DWU (3-4, 0-2 GPAC) and Dakota State (2-7).
The Tigers will be back on the road Tuesday to take on Mount Marty at 7 p.m.
