MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Mike Rowe, author, television personality and advocate for skilled trades, will be in South Dakota Thursday to celebrate 10 years of the Build Dakota Scholarship Program and promote the importance of technical education. Rowe, also the Founder & CEO of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, will make stops at each of the state’s four technical colleges, with scheduled events in each community. Three of the colleges (Sioux Falls, Mitchell and Rapid City) will host a Fireside Chat with Mike Rowe and local industry and community leaders, moderated by Build Dakota Scholarship Board President, Dana Dykhouse. In Watertown, Lake Area Technical College will celebrate the Archway Ribbon Cutting with Mike Rowe and the community. Below is more information about the day’s events.
