MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) One person was injured in a crash on Tuesday just north of Mitchell. According to officials, a minivan was rear-ended by a semi on Highway 37 near 245th Street. The minivan, driven by Brittany Dominguez of Canova, slowed unexpectedly in front of the semi, causing a rear-end collision. Dominguez suffered minor injuries. She was cited for submitting a false report to law enforcement, after dash cam footage contradicted her statements. The crash is still under investigation.
