District 20 Representative Paul Miskimins is not running for re-election to the South Dakota House in 2022 in order to spend more time with his family. Miskimins was first elected in 2018.
He says the last two years in particular have been an incredible privilege to serve during the challenges of COVID-19 and helping allocate the federal dollars that came as a result.
Miskimins says he is thankful for the voters of District 20 to allow him to represent them.
District 20 Representative Lance Koth does plan to run for re-election. Jeff Bathke and Ben Krohmer also plan to run for the House in District 20.
