Mitchell announces skate park grand re-opening

The city of Mitchell Parks and Recreation department will hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening for the new expansion at the skate park on July 23^rd from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be provided at the event. There will also be a drawing for prizes following the event. The public is invited to attend.

The skate park expansion is made possible by the City of Mitchell, the Land and Water Conservation Fun with South Dakota Game Fish and Parks and its donors.
