MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The City of Mitchell will have crews conducting chip sealing on several streets again on Tuesday.

The Public Works Department says work will be taking place on the 400 to 600 blocks of West 10th Avenue, the 900 through 1100 blocks of South Davison Street, the 500 block of East Juniper, the 1000 through 1300 blocks of West Hanson Avenue, the 500 block of South Kimball Street, the 100 block of West Railroad, from the 200 to 900 block of West Cedar Avenue, the parking lot in the 500 block of South Kimball Street, and the 100 through 500 blocks of South Burr Street.

Any homeowners living along the affected roads needs to have their vehicle off the street by 7 a.m. The city also asks that any automatic sprinkler systems get turned off and sump pump hoses should be pulled away from the gutter drain.
