The Mitchell City Council meets at 6 PM this evening at City Hall in downtown Mitchell. The council will consider approval of a taxi license for Speedy Taxi. The company’s license was denied by the council two years ago due to complaints about the company and its manager, Dustin Feistner. Feistner was also involved in multiple pursuits with law enforcement. In a letter included with his application, Feistner says he would like a second chance to be a professional and respectable transportation business in the city.
The council will also set the date for the hearing on the application to transfer beer and wine licenses from the Scoreboard Pub and Grill to Bradley Theme LLC, paving the way for the potential sale of the downtown Mitchell bar.
