Mitchell City Council to consider variances for three medical cannabis dispensaries

The Mitchell City Council will consider variances for three medical cannabis dispensaries. The Mitchell Planning Commission recommended approval of a variance for FSST Pharms, doing business as Native Nations Cannabis, for its location at 1620 South Burr Street. The commission did not recommend approval for variances for the other two: DLJ LLC at 501 East Juniper Avenue and Genesis Farms LLC at 106 West 5th Avenue.

Also on the agenda is action to approve the purchase of playground equipment at Kiwanis Park and an update on a transportation study done by HDR.

Tonight’s Mitchell City Council meeting begins at 6 PM at City Hall in downtown Mitchell. It is open to the public, is streamed online, and is televised locally.
