The Mitchell City Council will receive a bridge inspection update from Brosz Engineering at tonight’s Mitchell City Council meeting, which begins at 6 PM at City Hall in downtown Mitchell. Four structures were inspected this past spring by Brosz Engineering with one, the Canal Bridge, having a major issue.
The council will also consider a resolution authorizing the city to apply for just over 2 million dollars in Community Development Block Grant funding for a new facility for the Mitchell Area Safehouse. The grant is part of COVID-19 relief money provided by the federal government.
