SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Mitchell Kernels downed Sioux Falls Jefferson 69-61 in the South Dakota Class AA boys basketball tournament on Thursday afternoon in Sioux Falls.  Markus Talley led the way for the Kernels with 22 points, while Gavin Soukup added 14.  The Kernels play Friday at 6 PM against the winner of the Sioux Falls Roosevelt-Sioux Falls Washington game.
