MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A 21-year-old Mitchell man has been sentenced to three years of probation and a $500 fine after pleading guilty to fourth-degree rape. Azriel Fallis was sentenced Tuesday in Davison County Felony Court. Judge Giles noted the consensual nature of the relationship and that the victim had lied about her age. The case stemmed from a November 2024 domestic incident. Court records show Fallis admitted to having repeated sexual contact with a minor between 13 and 16 years old, despite being warned about the age difference. Fallis originally pleaded not guilty but changed his plea in March. For more crime stories from MitchellNow.com, click here.
