South Dakota’s 54 airports are set to receive $16.4 million from the recently passed infrastructure bill.  The money can be invested in runways, taxiways, safety and sustainability projects, as well as terminal, airport-transit connections and roadway projects.  This is the first of five annual rounds of funding South Dakota airports will receive.  The Mitchell Municipal Airport is set to receive $295,000 from the bill.  For a complete list of funding for all South Dakota airports, visit https://www.faa.gov/bil/airport-infrastructure.
