Mitchell police and Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help.

On Saturday, the Mitchell Police Department was notified that a vehicle had been stolen from the 500 block of E 14th. Through the investigation, it is believed that the vehicle had been stolen sometime between Friday night around 9 PM and Saturday afternoon around 3 PM. The vehicle was a 2005 Black Chevy Suburban with a South Dakota license plate number of 8B6238. The Mitchell Police Department has been able to acquire video footage of the suspect, but the suspect has not been identified.
