The Mitchell School Board meets at 5:30 PM at the MCTEA building across from Mitchell Senior High School. The board will discuss the idea of holding a bond issue for the completion of the construction of a new high school. At the last board meeting, the board approved a base bid of $45 million for the new school. However, that bid does not include many athletic facility upgrades. About $20 million would be needed to complete the high school. The board is expected to discuss whether to hold the vote and if so, when it should be held. Tonight’s Mitchell School Board meeting is open to the public. The agenda can be found at our website http://www.mitchellnow.com.
