Tonight’s Mitchell School Board agenda includes board consideration to approve safe return to school protocols for the upcoming school year and to grant Superintendent Joe Graves authority to adjust the protocols as conditions develop. The protocols are in accordance with guidelines set by the South Dakota Department of Health. They include pre-screening for students and social distancing. The school district will begin the school year on August 18th without a mask mandate. A mandate was in place last year. Today’s meeting begins at 5 PM at the MCTEA building across from Mitchell Senior High School. It is open to the public.
