Longtime and retiring employees of the Mitchell School District were recognized at a ceremony yesterday at the Performing Arts Center. Damon Bartscher, Lori Schmidt, and Carl Niehoff were honored for 40 years with the district. Deb Briggs was honored for 35 years with the Mitchell School District, and Jacki Roy was honored for 30 years of service. Among the retirees honored were Steve Culhane, Deb Olson, Cathy Horan, Donna Ellingson, Sandy Sheets, and Stacy Morgan. All have been with the Mitchell School District for 30 years or longer.
