Mitchell Kernels
Fresh off a sweep in their last matchup, the Kernel volleyball team returns to action again tomorrow. They will hit the road to Huron to face the Tigers. All Mitchell teams will be playing again. JV at 4:30pm, sophomores at 5:30pm and varsity beginning at 7pm.
Dakota Wesleyan
Your Tiger soccer teams will return to the field on Wednesday evening. It will be their last game of the regular season. They will travel to Sioux City, Iowa to face Morningside. The women will start at 5:30pm and the men will begin afterwards at 8pm.
Tiger volleyball will also be back on the court for game play this Wednesday when they host Dordt here in Mitchell. Winners of three of their last four games, DWU will look to turn things around and take down the Defenders. The game will begin at 7:30pm in the Christen Family Athletic Center.

Game 3 of the World Series will take place tonight. It is the No. 1 seed Los Angeles Dodgers with a 2-0 series lead over the No. 1 seed New York Yankees. It will be played in New York for Game 3 and action will begin at 7:08pm on FOX.
NBA
Five games in the association yesterday and here are the results: the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Indiana Pacers, 118-114. The Brooklyn Nets beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 115-102. The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, 125-103. The Oklahoma City Thunder took down the Atlanta Hawks, 128-104 and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Golden State Warriors, 112-104.
NFL
It’s about that time again for Monday Night Football. To round out week eight, we have the New York Giants on the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. The game is set to begin at 7:15pm on ESPN.
