Mitchell
Tomorrow will be a day filled with basketball, both home and away. The Kernel girls will remain home to face Watertown with the JV starting at 5:15pm and the varsity beginning at 7pm. The boys will hit the road to open their season. They will also be taking on Watertown and they’ll be at the Watertown High School Arena. JV & the freshman A team will get it started at 4pm, followed by a game by the sophomores & freshman B team at 5:30pm and varsity will get rolling at 7pm.
The Mitchell Marlins boys varsity team competed in the Minnetonka Hockey Tournament over the weekend, and we have results from that tournament. In their Friday game, Mitchell tied 4-4 against Minnetonka Black. On Saturday, they played in two games. Defeating Holy Family 6-1 and taking down Orono 4-0. Sunday’s game was a matchup between two pool champion teams, one being Mitchell. They faced Mahtomedi and fell, 6-4. The Mitchell Marlins were the champions of the JR Gold B – Shorewood pool.
Dakota Wesleyan
Your No. 17 ranked women’s basketball team will take to the air soon. They’ll prepare to travel all the way to Ava Maria, Florida. The Tigers will have a game on Wednesday against Avila (MO) at 3pm & Thursday against Ava Maria at 1pm in the Tom Golisano Fieldhouse.
NBA
Tonight, in the NBA, we have six games on the schedule. All games will be on NBA League Pass. Starting with a pair of 6pm starts including Philadelphia 76ers at the Charlotte Hornets and the Miami Heat at the Detroit Pistons. As well as two games beginning at 6:30pm, as the Chicago Bulls are on the road at the Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are at the Brooklyn Nets. The Denver Nuggets will travel to play the Sacramento Kings at 9pm. Then the night will round out with the Utah Jazz at the Los Angeles Clippers at 9:30pm.
NFL
The Minnesota Vikings will prepare for their game tonight. They will be the first of two Monday Night Football games. They will be hosting the Chicago Bears at 7pm at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN on ABC and ESPN plus. The other game will be the Atlanta Falcons against the Las Vegas Raiders beginning at 7:30pm on ESPN.
