Morningside, Northwestern top GPAC preseason football poll

The Great Plains Athletic Conference released its preseason football poll — and no surprise, Morningside and Northwestern sat at the top. Morningside edged out Northwestern for the No. 1 position — with 8 of the 11 first place votes.

Following Northwestern in the No. 2 spot was Dordt in third. Dakota Wesleyan was picked to finish seventh in the conference. The Tigers open up the season at home on August 28 against Dakota State. The complete preseason poll is below.
