MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The South Dakota State Fair and South Dakota Red Power Chapter 21 have announced the 2026 National Red Power Round Up will take place June 25–27 at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron.
The national event brings together International Harvester collectors, vendors and enthusiasts from across the United States. The 2026 show will mark the 37th National Red Power Round Up and the third time the event has been hosted in South Dakota.
Attendees can expect a wide range of tractors, engines, trucks and agricultural equipment, along with exhibits featuring household appliances, milking equipment and toy collections tied to International Harvester history.
The three-day, family-friendly event will also include live music, vendor booths, daily parades, kids’ activities, a steak feed, tractor pull and additional entertainment.
“We’re honored to bring the National Red Power Round Up back to South Dakota for a third time,” said Steve Masat, president of SD Red Power Chapter 21. He said the State Fairgrounds provide an ideal setting for an event of this size.
South Dakota State Fair Manager Peggy Besch said the fairgrounds and the Huron community are preparing to welcome visitors from across the country.
Registration is now open for exhibitors wishing to display equipment or collections. Vendor applications and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
