PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Drug Enforcement Administration has a new regional leader, and he’s focused on taking down drug rings like the Sinaloa Cartel. Dustin Gillespie was named Special Agent in Charge of the Omaha Region of the DEA. Having worked for the agency along the Southwest Border, he knows there’s a direct link to this region. The DEA just completed a week-long surge aimed at dismantling the Sinaloa Cartel, which is responsible for flooding the U S with fentanyl, meth, cocaine and heroin.
