MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota Highway Patrol officers have been cleared of wrongdoing after using deadly force in two separate shootings involving the same suspect on April 1st. Samir Albaidhani remains in custody, accused of evading law enforcement and firing at officers during two separate incidents. On Friday, Attorney General Marty Jackley released a Division of Criminal Investigation report that said the officers were justified in shooting Albaidhani before ultimately detaining him.
