MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Petitions for the June 4th Mitchell City Council, Mitchell mayoral, and Mitchell School Board election are due Tuesday at 5 PM.  So far, there is a three-way race in Ward 1 between incumbent Dan Sabers and challengers Sarah Deakins and Jesse Stroud.  Incumbent Kevin McCardle faces Shaun Davis in Ward 2.  Ward 3 incumbent Marty Barington does not yet have a challenger.  And in Ward 4, incumbent Jeff Smith faces Don Everson and Montana Walcott.  Mitchell Mayor Bob Everson has two challengers: Jordan Hanson and Terry Sabers.  The two Mitchell School Board incumbents whose seats are up for election, Brittni Flood and Shawn Ruml, are running for re-election unopposed so far.
