MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A warning has been issued about another wave of scam phone calls. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said they have gotten numerous reports of a caller telling people they have missed jury duty and there is a warrant for their arrest. He then says the person can have the charge dismissed if they make a payment through PayPal. Anyone who gets such a call is advised not to give out any personal information–and to hang up.
