PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota’s child support guidelines could be getting an update, and state officials want to hear from the public before any decisions are made. The state’s Commission on Child Support is currently reviewing the guidelines and considering changes aimed at ensuring fairness and keeping up with economic realities. As part of that process, the commission is inviting public comments on proposed updates. Residents can review the potential changes and submit feedback by visiting dss.sd.gov/ChildSupport. The deadline to weigh in is August 31st. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
