MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Lake Mitchell Campground is raising the rates for RV and tent sites, with an increase of $3 a day for 2025. According to the Mitchell Parks and Recreation Board, the rate hike will fund an after-hours call center to improve customer service and address concerns about the campground. The call center will be available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, providing a dedicated service for campers.
