Red Cross volunteers from across the country, including Carol Holm from Brookings, are working around the clock in California to assist with wildfire relief efforts. Holm, who has  also served in Texas during the floods, is the only South Dakotan currently deployed and one of 19 volunteers from the Red Cross of the Minnesota and Dakotas Region.
