SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Mitchell Now) – AGC of South Dakota is pleased to announce that District 19 Representative Drew Peterson has been named the organization’s 2026 Legislative Champion, recognizing his leadership and support of South Dakota’s construction industry and business community.
“AGC’s Legislative Champion Award recognizes legislators who go the extra mile to support a strong business climate in South Dakota,” said Toby Crow, Executive Vice President of AGC of South Dakota. “The construction industry is the backbone of community development—from building schools and hospitals to maintaining the roads and bridges that connect us. These investments strengthen our communities, create good-paying jobs and support businesses across the state.”
