Sarah Fosness was named the Mitchell Radio Group/Iverson Auto “Teacher Of The Year” on Monday. Fosness teaches 40 students in grades 1-5 in the Personalized Learning Community at Gertie Belle Rogers Elementary School in Mitchell.
She received a $100 Iverson gift card, $250 in Mitchell Money, a plaque, and a bouquet of flowers to commemorate her special honor. Fosness has taught at GBR since 2013.
On hand to present the award were Austen Iverson of Iverson Auto and Renee Robbins and Mel Olson of Mitchell Radio Group.
