WASHINGTON D.C. (MITCHELLNOW) President Biden gave the State of the Union address last night. In it, he criticized his likely opponent in the November election, Donald Trump, talked about abortion rights, taxes and the economy, and Russia and Ukraine. South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson called the speech “divisive.”
Johnson also said the president glossed over one of the most important issues in the country – border security.
In the official Republican response to the speech, Senator Katie Britt of Alabama called Biden “dithering and diminished.” Biden’s supporters called the speech “vigorous.”
