SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota’s own Special Olympian skier Nick Mills is bringing home a silver medal from Special Olympics World Winter Games. Mills earned silver in the slalom at the games in Italy. Special Olympics South Dakota shared the big news on its Facebook Page Saturday. The Sioux Falls native also finished fifth in giant slalom and had a seventh-place finish in Super-G.

Mills earned the silver in the slalom event, showcasing his exceptional skills on the international stage. In addition to his silver medal, Mills finished fifth in the giant slalom and seventh in Super-G. Special Olympics South Dakota celebrated his impressive achievements on their Facebook page this past Saturday.
