PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The South Dakota Transportation Commission is making a major investment in bridges across the state. It’s awarding 17 preservation, rehabilitation, and replacement Bridge Improvement Grants. Recipients include the city of Sioux Falls, and the counties of Aurora, Codington, Lawrence, Minnehaha, and Pennington, to name a few. About 80-million dollars was approved for the projects at a recent commission meeting in Pierre.
