BROOKINGS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Four South Dakota State mechanical engineering students are headed to California. The team from SDSU was selected as one of eight schools to compete in the NASA Gateways to Blue Skies finals at the Armstrong Flight Research Center in Palmdale. This year’s theme focuses on research into new or improved aviation solutions for agriculture. The event is being held today and tomorrow. Members of the winning team will earn internships at NASA.
