A Mitchell man who was driving a vehicle from which multiple shots were fired in a Mitchell neighborhood last August was sentenced to seven years in prison on Tuesday. 25-year old Isaac Chytka pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault. He was given credit for 202 days served in jail since the incident. Chytka and 20-year old Johnathan Velazquez were involved in a pursuit with Skylar Battest of Mitchell. The pursuit ended up in the blocks of West Ash and West Hanson, where thirteen shots were fired by Velazquez. The shots hit Battest’s vehicle, another resident’s vehicle, and a house. Velazquez was sentenced to twelve years in prison last month.
