Tonight marks the first of a series of open houses for Mitchell High School’s athletic facilities. The open houses will allow open access to the public to view the condition of the current athletic facilities. Coaches will be available to answer questions on the current facilities and how they believe new facilities will benefit their programs. Mitchell voters in June will decide on a 17 million dollar bond issue that would add athletic facilities to the new high school. Information on voting, the bond issue, and the proposed new athletic facilities will also be available at the open houses, which are scheduled for tonight; Tuesday, May 16; and Monday, May 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Mitchell High School.
