Several personnel changes in city and county offices were announced this week.
The City of Mitchell has a new city planner. Mark Jenniges will replace longtime city planner Neil Putnam, who resigned after 23 years in the city Planning Department. Jenniges has served as deputy administrator for the Davison County Planning and Emergency Management departments. His resignation is effective July 2nd.
In a restructuring of Mitchell’s Public Works Department, Joe Schroeder was promoted to the dual role of public works director and city engineer. That announcement was made at Monday’s Mitchell City Council meeting. Former Public Works Director Kyle Croce resigned last month and moved back to his native Florida.
