SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Sioux Falls City Council appears ready to extend the ambulance contract with Patient Care EMS for another five years. PCEMS received high marks in public testimony on its service during Tuesday night’s City Council meeting. That followed criticism last week that the contract was being extended without any requests for proposals from other ambulance operators. City Health Director Joe Kippley defended the agreement. The proposed contract extension will come up for a final vote next month. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here
