SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The suspect in an officer-involved shooting and pursuit in Sioux Falls has been indicted in Union County. Authorities say 25-year-old Samir Albaidhani already faces 11 counts, including felony attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer. He’s now facing four more charges including aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer. Albaidhani allegedly fired a gun at Sioux Falls police officers on Tuesday, April 1st, when they tried to take him into custody for skipping out on his parole. One officer was hit but is headed toward a full recovery. The suspect was also shot by law enforcement in the arm but was not seriously hurt.
