SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Sioux Falls police are investigating a Sunday morning (June 30, 2024) shooting incident that took place in the parking lot of a business in the one-thousand block of north Minnesota Avenue.
A number of witnesses say people shooting at each other from two different vehicles. Sioux Falls Police Lieutenant Nick Butler says a gun was found in the parking lot…and says 31-year-old Joseph Chase was arrested later.
Sioux Falls Police also arrested 34-year-old Abdhakim Ahmed Ismail shortly after a bank was robbed in the 2600 block of East Tenth Street Monday morning.
No weapon was seen, but Lieutenant Nick Butler says Ismail allegedly demanded cash from a teller, was given an undisclosed amount, and fled in a vehicle.
