TEA, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A Tea, South Dakota man is biking across the country to support local veterans, and he’s already over 500 miles in. Gage Matzen took a break from his engineering job for the 42-hundred-mile ride. To stay motivated, Matzen turned the trip into a fundraiser for the Veterans Community Project in Sioux Falls, a cause close to his heart. He’s already passed his original five-thousand-dollar goal and now hopes to double it. Matzen says it’s all about giving back to the people who’ve sacrificed so much. Donations can be made online, and live updates of Matzen’s journey are being shared on social media. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
