TEA, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A Tea, South Dakota man is biking across the country to support local veterans, and he’s already over 500 miles in. Gage Matzen took a break from his engineering job for the 42-hundred-mile ride. To stay motivated, Matzen turned the trip into a fundraiser for the Veterans Community Project in Sioux Falls, a cause close to his heart. He’s already passed his original five-thousand-dollar goal and now hopes to double it. Matzen says it’s all about giving back to the people who’ve sacrificed so much.
