MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) South Dakota is one of the best states to retire. That’s according to new research from WalletHub. The poll looked at 46 key indicators for retirement, including friendliness, tax rates, and cost of living. Florida was named the best state to retire, followed by Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota at number 5. The worst state to retire, according to the poll, is Kentucky.

Mitchell Plans Second Fire Station to Speed Up Response Times
