Active COVID-19 cases in South Dakota went up Tuesday by 14 in the latest report and now stands at 2,439. The South Dakota Department of Health reported 262 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, but no new fatalities from the virus as the state’s total case number reached 120,154. The death toll in the state from the virus is at 1,947 overall since the pandemic began. Meanwhile, 106 people are currently in the hospital due to COVID-19 and Davison County’s active case count is now at 60.
