Mitchell

The gymnastics team will compete tonight. They’ll be on the road in Huron for the Huron Invitational that is scheduled to start at 5:30pm.

The Marlins boys varsity hockey team is on the road continuing their weekend of games. They’re competing in the Buffalo Tournament in Rogers, MN through tomorrow.

The Kernels basketball teams will both be facing the Brookings Bobcats at home tonight in the World’s Only Corn Palace. The JV, freshman and sophomore games start at 3:30pm & 4:45pm. Varsity will start at 6pm for the girls and 7:30pm for the boys.

The Kernel girls wrestling team is in competition on the road tonight. They’ll be in Harrisburg at Harrisburg High School for a varsity tournament. The competition will start at 4pm.

Dakota Wesleyan

The track teams are set to be back in competition tomorrow. They will both compete in the Myrle Hanson Open, and it will start at 9:30am.

Back at it tomorrow is your Tiger women’s wrestling team. They’re set to wrestle in the York Open which will begin competition at 9am.

Both Tiger basketball teams return to game action tomorrow afternoon. The No. 15 ranked women’s basketball team, who have won eight of their last nine games, will take on the Mount Marty Lancers in the front end of a doubleheader with the men. The Tiger men have dropped three of their last four and look to steady the ship on Saturday as they now sit at .500 in Great Plains Athletic Conference play. The women begin at 2pm tomorrow and men start at 3:45pm.

NBA

A nine-game slate is on tap in the NBA tonight and two will air on National TV. It starts at 6pm with the Orlando Magic visiting the Boston Celtics on ESPN. At 6:30pm, you’ll have the Minnesota Timberwolves at the New York Knicks. Four games start at 7pm including the Denver Nuggets at the Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors at the Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz at the New Orleans Pelicans and the Charlotte Hornets at the Chicago Bulls. The lone 7:30pm game will feature the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Dallas Mavericks. Afterwards you’ll have the Memphis Grizzlies at the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30pm on ESPN. Capping off the night will be the Brooklyn Nets at the Los Angeles Lakers at 9:30pm.

NFL

NFL Playoffs pick back up tomorrow with two Divisional Round playoff games. First you have the No. 4 seed Houston Texans on the road to face the No. 1 seed Kansas City Chiefs. Kickoff is at 3:30pm and will air on ABC/ESPN. Then you’ll have the No. 7 seed Washington Commanders at the No. 1 seed Detroit Lions. The game will have kickoff at 7pm on FOX.
